Haiti - FLASH : Contaminated Haitian travelers from Port-au-Prince disembark in Montreal

Quebec is worried to see that travelers returning to Canada, from several countries (Mexico, Cuba, United States and France, etc...) that have been exposed to the coronavirus or are infected. Just like passengers on two Air Transat flights that arrived in Montreal on January 10 and 13, 2021 from Port-au-Prince.

It should be noted that the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), which analyzes Covid cases on board airplanes, considers that a row on a flight is affected "[...] it is three rows in the front and to the back of a row in which was a Covid-19 case. In the case of flights from Haiti, PHAC considered all rows to be at risk :

Air Transat, TS663, from Port-au-Prince to Montreal, January 10, all rows

Air Transat, TS665, from Port-au-Prince to Montreal, January 13, all rows."

However, the number of carrying or contaminated passengers in these planes is unknown.

Let's recall that passengers from Haiti to Canada were exempted from presenting a negative Covid-19 test result until January 21 due to the lack of capacity or availability of tests in Haiti.
