The Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) participates in the 17th edition of the Fair "Livres en Folie" in Haiti, to the Parc Historique de la Canne à Sucre. Located at the main entrance of "Livres en Folie", the stand of the AUF, is an opportunity for the public to discover the major axes of the Agency's programs in Haiti and the Caribbean : support to students and teachers of the member universities through grants of mobility Master's and PhD; support to member institutions through the missions of teachers and foreign experts in the disciplines in deficit; support to the scientific events [Seminars, research and scientific publications].

The offers of services of Digital campus of Port-au-Prince allow to the local and regional public [students, teachers, researchers and professionals] "The consultation of books co-published by the AUF, the access to digital books, assisted literature search, the order of articles published in international scientific journals, continuous training in the areas of administration of Linux systems and networks, the design, the creation and management of information systems, but also the development of educational technologies and the Open and Distance Learning (ODL)."

Despite the lack of internet signal [!] in the area to conduct live demonstrations of digital content of the Agency online libraries the digital books have stole the show to the books co-published by the AUF. The leaflets presenting the offer of digital content of the Agency have raised more interest and curiosity of the public that the tangible books exposed.

The Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) through its Bureau Caraïbe and its haitian partners, ncluding the National Directorate of Book (DNL), will examine in the future the possibility to organize in Haiti the "Scientific Book Fair" (Salon du Livre Scientifique). This initiative of the AUF, planned from the autumn 2011 has obtained the authorization of the DNL.
