Haiti - Politic : The MHAVE requests the audit of its management
Mr. Louis Gonzague Edner Day, the Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) requested from the Superior Court of Accounts in a correspondence dated October 9, 2020 to kindly pass the instructions to the relevant Directorate of the said institution for the purposes of respectively auditing his management at the head of MHAVE as well as that of the Administrative Director of MHAVE Mr. Vilma Beauvil as authorizing officers of the Public Administration for the 2019/2020 financial year, for the period from March 12, 2020 to closing of the fiscal year on September 30, 2020.
Minister Day requested this request in accordance with the wishes of the President of the Republic his Jovenel Moïse and the Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe, to respect the laws, with regard to the obligation of annual audit, accountability, transparency and the good governance given to the authorizing officers of the National Public Administration.
