Haiti - Japan : Inauguration of the rehabilitated Saint Vincent Clinic

On Wednesday October 7, the rehabilitation project of the Saint Vincent Clinic (Port-au-Prince) was inaugurated in the presence of the Ambassador of Japan in Haiti, Mitsuaki MIZUNO, of Dr. John Erickson Moïse, Medical Director of the Clinic, of the Director of the Clinic, the Reverend Priest Irnel Duveaux, the Secretary of State for the Integration of People with Disabilities, Mrs. Soinette Désir and the staff of the Clinic.

Recall that this rehabilitation work, funded entirely by Japan to the tune of 108,035 US dollars, was carried out as part of the aid program in the form of Donations to Local Micro-Projects (APL) signed on March 13, 2019 between the Embassy of Japan in Haiti and the Saint Vincent Center for Handicapped Children (CSVEH)

This project aimed to rehabilitate the clinic by re-adapting the x-ray room to new equipment, also providing the clinic with consultation tables, pediatric blood pressure monitors, wooden measuring boards and scales relating to the proper functioning of a clinic. specialized.

The purpose of this rehabilitation was not only to allow disabled children of the Saint Vincent Center to have access to quality health services, but also to fully and worthily enjoy their right to health, a critical factor for their fulfillment and development of their potential.
