Haiti - FLASH : Probable assassination of the father of Rameau Normil, DG of the PNH
On September 24 in the evening, the lifeless body of Ribert Normil (83 years old), father of Rameau Normil Director General ai and Commander-in-Chief of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) was found in the water tank of his residence at Fort-Jacques 17 (Kenscoff). For Rameau Normil, career investigator, everything suggests that it is not an accident but a homicide, the tank cover had been closed and the cane his father used to walk has been found in the House.
An investigation for murder was opened by the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (on the instruction of Prime Minister Jouthe) in order to elucidate the circumstances and the reasons for this death and to find the perpetrators of this act, to put them in the hands of Justice.
Recall that Rameau Normil has already been the victim of two armed attacks this year, the first in January at his office in Pétion-ville and the second about 2 months ago during an inspection visit.
