Landslide, 2 dead

On the night of Saturday to Sunday a landslide caused the collapse of a house in "Nan Sen Lwi" a locality of Carrefour-feuille. Two people died, a 47-year-old father and his 14-year-old son.

Visit of the La Tannerie Dam construction site

On Saturday Patrix Sévère, the Minister of Agriculture, accompanied by his Director General, the head of agricultural infrastructure and the Departmental Director of Agriculture of the North visited the rehabilitation site of the dam at La Tannerie, located between Quartier-Morin and Rivière du Nord, in order to know the progress of the work and encourage the Cuban and Haitian teams working on this site. The completion of this project will strengthen the agricultural production capacity of all planters on 2,000 hectares of land on the perimeter of La Tannerie. Construction of the "Roseline Vaval" high school

Joseph F. Nicolas Director General of the National Education Fund (FNE), met with some representatives of the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) and the firm responsible for carrying out the construction project of the Lycée "Roseline Vaval" in Vialet (Petit-Goâve, West).
