In his intervention, the Head of State took the opportunity to recall the need for each Haitian to learn to read and write to truly participate, with all his abilities, in the development of his country, in the development of his community.

Moïse stressed that the Creole language is an important tool that unites all the children of the country and called on the institutions concerned to continue to make even greater efforts "to ensure that 4 million illiterates in Haiti become literate."

The Head of State also asked the Secretary of State for Literacy to make all the arrangements as soon as possible, so that the literacy campaign can be carried out in 10 departments of the country instead of 4 departments like this is currently being done.
