According to the Ministry of Public Health, 21 new cases of Covid-19 would have been confirmed in Haiti within 24 hours the day before (+29), for a total of 7,831 cases throughout the national territory (41.56% of women and 58.44% ) since the first case (March 19, 2020 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30319-haiti-health-origin-of-the-first-2-cases-of-covid-19-in-haiti.html ).

Deaths : 4 new deaths from Covid-19 were recorded in 24 hours, 3 in the Ouest department 1 in the Artibonite department, bringing the national total to 196. Note that this week accounts for nearly 10% (19 deaths) of all deaths since the start of the epidemic.

Healings : 5,235 people (+112 in 72h), previous (+141 in 48h)

Active cases : (minus deaths and healings) 2,400 (-95 in 24 hours), the day before: (+29)

Suspected cases investigated since March 19 : 20,862 cases (+129 in 24 hours), previous (+166)
