Haiti - Politic : Working session around the reopening of airports
Tuesday at the National Airport Authority (AAN) Louis Gonzague Edner Day, the Minister of Haitians Living Abroad participated in a working session chaired by the Engineer Nader Joiséus, Minister of Public Works in which also participated Mrs. Myriam Jean la Minister of Tourism Ms. Myriam Jean and various players in the aeronautical sector.
On the agenda, the various measures adopted by the Government in the context of the fight against the spread of Covid-19 and the procedures envisaged on the reopening of national airports. These exchanges also expressed the concern of our compatriots stranded abroad who are pleading for the reopening of national airports.
Points discussed :
Establishment of a timetable with the airlines to better manage space;
Measures and respect for social distancing within airports;
Baggage claim procedure;
Management of the flow of people present in circulation inside the airport;
Reflection on a possible reopening of our airports.
