This period of health emergency and its measures to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus are proving difficult and education is one of the sectors most affected.

Already, well before the arrival of this epidemic, due to the socio-political crisis for several months, the school year was already very uncertain despite the reorganized school calendar of the Ministry of National Education hhttps://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29483-haiti-flash-school-calendar-revised-official.html . Now, with this new closing of classes to avoid the spread of Covid-19, completing the school year represents a great challenge for the educational community.

In order to help schools on the national territory to ensure educational continuity the website www.LEKoL.ht has decided to give them free access to its educational platform for the rest of the 2019-2020 school year.

With the same objective as the distance education platform of the Ministry of National Education https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30433-haiti-education-distance-education-for-all-clarification.html this initiative will allow these schools to continue to support students at distance during this confinement period.

Aware that some students will not be able to benefit from this service due to the limited internet resources, the LEKòl platform encourages all those who can (parents, friends and others) to support the students so that they can continue their learning.
