Haiti - Health : $50M from the IDB for the fight against Covid-19
Prime Minister Jouthe confirmed that the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) had decommissioned $50 million allocated to projects of lower priority than the health crisis, to devote them to the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in Haiti where 15 cases have already confirmed https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30389-haiti-flash-the-number-of-cases-of-covid-19-has-almost-doubled.html

Prime Minister Jouthe explained that these funds will be used to equip centers dedicated to the isolation and treatment of Covid-19 and the purchase of equipment for care staff and the treatment of patients, including medical gloves, sterilized gowns, automatic biochemistry analyzers, respirators and accessories, hospital beds, infusion pump, masks, personal protective equipment, tests etc... "We have already built three buildings in the departments of Artibonite, North and South. We are in the process of building another one in Ouanaminthe.
