The correction of candidates' copies of the exams of permanent Bac for secondary school students : traditional and renovated, began on Wednesday 19 February. It’s the West department that kicked off with copies of the Philosophy, Biology and Life and Earth Sciences tests.

Calendar of corrections :

The social sciences and chemistry started on Thursday 20 February;

English, math and Spanish started Friday February 21;

The other subjects will start from this Saturday 22 February and Monday 24

Meanwhile, other regional offices also kicked off on Friday.

West Departmental Director Louis Fritz Dorminvil predicts that the West Department's corrections are expected to be completed on Wednesday, February 26.

Recall 16,107 candidates were expected in the 1st session of the permanent Bac in February for the 2019-2020 academic year : 11,261 candidates for traditional secondary and 4,846 for renovated secondary. About 400 correctors have been recruited across the 10 Departments of Education, including 150 in the West. The ministry estimates that by the end of next week all nationwide copy correction operations should be completed.
