Haiti - Politic : Moïse grants 40 million subsidy to the Hospital of the Haitian Community
Thursday, President Jovenel Moïse visited the Haitian Community Hospital (HCH) closed for more than four months due to serious internal problems which prevent its functioning, depriving the population of health service.
Determined to find together with the HCH Board, a lasting solution to the problems of this important hospital center, the Head of State announced various measures, including a 40 million Gourdes subsidy to facilitate the resumption of its activities.
Moïse stressed that this support from the State, participated in the process of relaunching this hospital built in 1972, which he wishes to see return to service as soon as possible.
The Head of State also took the opportunity to launch an appeal to actors working in the health sector, both in Haiti and abroad to come to the aid of this hospital which has long provided quality care to Haitians.
