For several weeks the Olympic selection of the Grenadiers U-23, has increased the training sessions at the FIFA GOAL Center of the Croix-des-Bouquets ranch under the direction of coaches Jean Claude Josaphat and Webens Princime aka "Itala", in sight to take part in the final phase of the qualifiers for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, which will be held from March 20 to April 1, 2020 in Guadalajara (Mexico).

To qualify of talented Grenadiers like : Bicou Bissainthe, Dutherson Clerveau, Peterson Junior Joseph, Ronaldo Damus and Eliader Dorlus among others will have the heavy task of challenging the tenors of the Concacaf region : USA, Costa Rica and even the Mexican hosts before to place its hand on one of the only two qualifying tickets available for the Concacaf area.

In Group B, our Grenadiers will face Honduras (March 21), Canada (March 24) and El Salvador 3 days later to advance to the semi-finals if they qualify.

For the moment, several match tests are being negotiated for our Olympic team.

Saturday, February 8, at the FIFA Goal Center, our Grenadiers who faced Violette AC during a test match, delivered a great performance [0-0] saved by their reservist doorman Marc Saûl St Fleur who stopped a penalty from Kerlins Georges 15 minutes from the end of regulation time.

After losing [1-2] face ArcahaieFC in their first test match, the Olympic team had no other choice that to win, but their deserved draw against one of the best clubs of the Metropolitan region is far from being a disappointment given the level of play displayed by the two teams.

Overall, the players have proven that they can go far, however, other elements who have already wet their jersey, will soon be convened to complete the team which is to leave Haiti soon.
