Haiti - FLASH shipwreck : A 4th Haitian body found off Double Breasted Cay (Bahamas)

After the rescue on January 21 of 31 Haitian boat people following the sinking of their overloaded ship between Maycock Cay and Double Breast Cay in the Bahamas archipelago https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29872-haiti-flash-shipwreck-off-the-bahamas-31-survivors-several-haitians-missing.html research continues to find the missing.

After finding 3 lifeless bodies 2 stranded at Double Breast Cay and a 3rd in the vicinity of Hog Cay, about three kilometers southwest of Double Breast Cay, military divers from the Royal Bahamas Defense Force (RBDF) found off Double Breasted Cay a 4th body from one of the Haitian passengers. The body in poor condition was returned to the coroner's office.

An RBDF press release reports that a wrecked boat, probably the one that transported the Haitians, was found at the northern end of the Cay.

Research continues, a shipwreck having survived on 700 islands and islets that make up the archipelago... Remember that the survivors survived for almost a week on a small island of coral and sand (cay).
