On the sidelines of a recent inspection tour of community restaurants, Charles Ernest Chatelier, Director General of the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES), announced that 42 benchmark community restaurants will soon be supplied in several regions of the country.

These reference community restaurants will benefit, in the context of Haitian-Taiwanese cooperation, from financial support and unconditional donations from the Government of Taiwan (Republic of China).

In addition, the FAES informs the general public and the beneficiaries in particular that it is obliged to temporarily suspend the supply of food products to around twenty community restaurants in the metropolitan region, following the report submitted to it by the Departmental Delegation of the West, mentioning several cases of irregularities.
