Haiti - Health : Advice of the MSPP for New Year

During the New Year celebrations, the Ministry of Public Health and Public Health (MSPP) urges everyone to be careful during the celebration.

The ministry points out certain guidelines which will help us to avoid any disease which can occur during the holidays.

Sometimes people often forget to protect themselves. In our Creole language, we know :

"se mèt kò ki veye kò"

Behaviors to be observed during periods of celebration:

1. Never forget to respect the principles of hygiene in what you eat and drink to avoid intoxication;

2. Don't drink too much alcohol, which will help prevent violence;

3. Do not speeding and remember: "If you are going to drive do not drink, if you are drinking do not drive";

4. Avoid drinking energy drinks and all other mixed drinks;

5. Wear a condom every time you have sex

6. Stay alert during activities that bring many people together.

The ministry takes this opportunity to wish SERENITY, GOOD HEALTH and PROSPERITY to all in 2020.
