On Wednesday, Dr. Claude Joseph, Chargé d'Affaires of Haiti in Spain at the head of a delegation of the Embassy, ​​met with Professor Dámasa Lopez García, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Cooperation of the Complutense University of Madrid, to discuss opportunities for scientific and academic cooperation between Complutense and the State University of Haiti (UEH).

The Vice-Rector welcomed with great enthusiasm the delegation of the Embassy and said he was ready to work with Haitian universities, the UEH in particular.

Thursday, Claude Joseph has a fruitful meeting with the officials of the "Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia" (UCAM), located in the south of Spain.

Exchanges lasting more than 3 hours enabled the Chargé d'Affaires and UCAM officials to discuss several forms of university cooperation.

Claude Joseph welcomed the two meetings and said that in Spain "the opportunities for Haiti are immense" underlining that the Embassy was working tirelessly to facilitate scientific and academic cooperation between Spain and Haiti.
