On Monday, angry anti-government protesters attacked and vandalized the Commissariat of Marigot Commune (South-East Department) and set fire to a service vehicle parked in front of the police station.

The attack follows the death of a protester who was trying to erect a barricade of burning tires and was shot dead by a police officer, according to demonstrators who were enraged to do justice by attacking the police station. It should be noted that in front of the fury of the protesters, the police have fled the police station for fear for their lives, according to the deputy of the commune.
