In his 15-minute speech, the Head of State said "I heard the scream of the people. I heard and I noticed your despair. Ayiti pap peri..." and he confirmed the cancellation of his participation in the 74th session of the UN General Assembly this week in order to address the problems faced by the country...

As in his previous speeches, Jovenel Moïse has launched for the umpteenth time a call for union and dialogue "I extend my hand to all the forces of the Nation to form together a Government of National Unity", able to address the urgent problems of the country [...] "proposing to seek with all actors "[...] agreements on our disagreements, an agreement on our misunderstanding [...]"

"Let's have the courage to dare to unite. The Head of State makes it clear that he does not intend to resign as the opposition claims when he states "I will not run away from this office..."
