On Saturday, September 21st at the Croix-Des-Bouquets Ranch, Edwing Charles, the Minister of Youth, launched the selection process of young entrepreneurship trainers, in the presence of its Director General Mario Florvil and ministry officials.

This initiative is the result of a partnership between the Ministry and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), committed to applying in favor of the Haitian youth the program Creativity for Employment and Business Opportunity (CEBO) aimed at encouraging motivate and inspire the interest and spirit of youth entrepreneurship.

This is a free training run from September 30 to October 4, 2019 by CARICOM experts in collaboration with Ministry officials, for the benefit of 15 young Haitians aged between 18 and 29, from youth associations recognized by the State.

From this perspective 25 association candidate, came forward to participate in the first stage of the selection process.

"The 15 selected, who will have to follow the training in entrepreneurship, will duplicate, in turn, their knowledge to young people from their associations and those in vulnerable situations from October 5," said Minister Charles.

According to the Minister "It is possible to bring young Haitians to self-employment for their integration and financial autonomy" because the State and the private business sector can not get all young people out of unemployment, hence the importance of entrepreneurship.
