The Ministry of National Education after having published the success rate for exams of the traditional baccalaureate for 9 departments, has just made available the success rates of the Department of the North completing the 10 departments for the academic year 2018-2019

According to figures provided by the National Bureau of State Examinations (BUNEXE), the success rate at the national level for the 2018-2019 academic year is 45.90%, ie 24,130 admitted out of 52,573 participants and 22,020 candidates ajourned. By ranking the overall results for the 10 departments, the Northeast has the highest success rate with 68.36% and the South the lowest success rate with 12%.

Success rates according to the figures provided by BUNEXE :

Northeast Department :

373 participants, 255 admitted, success rate 68.36% (112 candidates ajourned);

A success rate higher than the academic year 2017/2018 (51.84%) and 2016/2017 (34.83%).

South Department :

3,317 participants, 2,138 admitted, pass rate 64.46% (1,017 candidates postponed);

A success rate higher than the academic year 2017/2018 (60.01%) and 2016/2017 (69.23%).

Center Department :

4,132 participants, 2,379 admitted, success rate 57.58% (1,706 ajourned candidates);

A success rate higher than the academic year 2017/2018 (54.42%) and 2016/2017 (39.37%).

Department of Nippes :

731 participants, 401 admitted, success rate 54.86% (298 candidates ajourned).

A success rate higher than the academic year 2017/2018 (49.69%) and 2016/2017 (41.1%).

Artibonite Department :

7,941 participants, 4,033 admitted, pass rate 50.79% (3,169 candidates ajourned);

A success rate higher than the academic year 2017/2018 (37.47%) and 2016/2017 (28.83%).

North Department :

5,415 participants, 2,562 admitted, success rate 47.31% (2,264 candidates ajourned);

A success rate lower than the academic year 2017/2018 (48.02) but higher than 2016/2017 (43.61%).

Department of Grand'Anse :

346 participants, 156 admitted, success rate 45.09% (183 candidates ajourned);

A success rate higher than the academic year 2017/2018 (42.37%)

Southeast Department :

2,463 participants, 1,017 admitted, success rate 41.29% (1,186 candidates ajourned);

A success rate lower than the academic year 2017/2018 (57.88) but higher than 2016/2017 (33.73%).

West Department :

27,830 participants, 11,186 admitted, success rate 40,19% (12,063 candidates ajourned);

A success rate higher than the academic year 2017/2018 (35.89) and 2016/2017 (24.98%).

North West Department :

25 participants, 3 admitted, success rate 12.00% (22 candidates ajourned);

A success rate higher than the academic year 2017/2018 (39.48%) and 2016/2017 (29.76%).

The Ministry invites school officials to remove the list of their school from the Departmental Education Directorate (DDE) of their respective areas.

NOTE : The extraordinary session is scheduled from Tuesday 27 to Friday, August 30, 2019. The ajourned candidates will only compose in the subjects for which they did not obtain their average. For this purpose, they must consult the schedule of the examinations of the extraordinary session in order to clearly identify the day of the resumption of the concerned subjects.

The results of examinations for unsuccessful candidates and refreshered secondary students who are not concerned by the extraordinary session will be communicated later.
