Haiti - FLASH : BAC Success Rate for 4 department (2018-2019)

The Ministry of National Education has just made public the pass rate for traditional bac exams for 4 departments: West, South-East, Center and Nippes.

Results according to figures provided by the State Bureau of State Examinations (BUNEXE)

Center Department :

4,132 participants, 2,379 admitted, success rate 57.58% (1,706 candidates adjourned);

A success rate higher than the academic year 2017/2018 (54.42%) and 2016/2017 (39.37%).

Department of Nippes :

731 participants, 401 admitted, success rate 54.86% (298 candidates adjourned).

A success rate higher than the academic year 2017/2018 (49.69%) and 2016/2017 (41.1%).

Southeast Department :

2,463 participants, 1,017 admitted, pass rate 41, 29% (1,186 candidates adjourned);

A success rate lower than the academic year 2017/2018 (57.88%) but higher than 2016/2017 (33.73%).

West Department :

27,830 participants, 11,186 admitted, pass rate 40.19% (12,063 candidates adjourned);

A success rate higher than the academic year 2017/2018 (35.89%) and 2016/2017 (24.98%).

The Ministry invites school officials to remove the list of their school from the Departmental Education Directorate (DDE) of their respective areas.

The Ministry specifies that the results of other departments will be made public shortly.
