This week Yves Jean Bart aka "Dadou" the President of the Executive Committee of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF), led a major working meeting on the U-17 national team that will compete in the U-17 Men's World Cup of the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) whose final phase will be played in Brazil from October 26 to November 17, 2019.

The technical team headed by the Venezuelan Miguel Perdomo and his assistants (Webens Précimé, Paulin Jean, Cristian Rivas and Pierre Chery), members of the Management, Press and Medical team, the National Technical Director Wilner Étienne and Adelphe Intermediate stone between the FHF and FIFA, participated in this working session.

It has been decided that our young Grenadiers, who have been offered a second FIFA World Cup qualifying in a FIFA World Cup finals, will undertake a national tour during which they will face a number of First Division clubs in the main cities of Haiti by September 14th. The complete schedule of this tour will be communicated later.

It has also been decided that players will stay in a hotel in the metropolitan area from 1 September to 15 September, the day they leave for Europe for a one-month preparation trip to Strasbourg (France) from September 15 to October 15, at the end of which, the Haitian delegation will leave for Brazil where the selection will enter the last straight line of its preparation before starting the competition on October 27, 2019.

Placed in Group C with the Republic of Korea, France and Chile, Haiti will play the group stage of this competition from October 27th to November 2nd at "Stadio Da Serrinha de Goiania" with the opening match on October 27th against the Republic of Korea, then Chile on October 30 before ending this phase against France on November 2, 2019.

After the Senior Men in 1974, the 2007 Men and the U-20 Women in 2018, this U-17 national team will be the fourth Haitian team to participate in a final phase of FIFA World Cup football and the mission will at least win a first victory that will make history.
