2nd Edition Diaporama Mode

This Sunday, August 18, at the Hotel Allamanda (Pétion-ville) will be held the 2nd edition of Diaporama Mode around the theme "And if Haiti engaged with fashion ?". In the parade program, a welcome cocktail and a panel of discussions gathering guests handpicked according to their background. Note that it is mandatory for each guest to wear a creation from one of the Haitian designers (Famous or not) gifts for the best dressed... Adminission 30 US dollars.

State Lottery Fire Attempt

On the night from August 15 to 16 unidentified individuals attempted to burn down the premises of the Haitian State Lottery. The damage are limited.

Haiti : More deaths at sea

In 2018 in the Caribbean 159 migrants lost their lives at sea in search of a better life... Haiti arrives at the top of this sad list with 59 people dead drowned, followed by Trinidad and Tobago (52), the Bahamas. (31) and the Dominican Republic (17).

Inauguration of a modern village

It is in an atmosphere of gaiety that residents of Gomier (Commune of Roseaux, Grand'Anse Department) received this week members of the Board and the Direction of the NGO "Food For the Poor" for the inauguration of one of four villages of modern homes built for families victims of Hurricane Matthew, which ravaged the South and Grande Anse in 2016.

CARIFESTA : Haiti thrills the audience with its drums

Saturday at the Carifesta XIV, the percussionists of "Haiti Tchaka danse", the National Theater and the Explosion Troop of Jacmel, respectively vibrated the audience at Queen's Park Savannah during a drumming show, while in front of the scene of young Haitian dancers amazed the audience.
