Haiti - Politic : Second day of failure in the Senate.... 29/04/2011 11:39:07
If Rudolph Joazile to the Presidency, Francky Excius, First Secretary and Hyppolite Mélius, second secretary are mostly "accepted", it is now the post of Vice-President which poses problem. Coveted by Sen. Andrys Riché (Alternative), Joseph Lambert, national coordinator of INITE and leader of the majority, is opposed to this choice saying that his colleague, the Senator Jean Hector Anacacis has been designated to be the number two in the new Bureau. Sen. Rich has vigorously denounced the will of representatives of the ruling party, to want to continue to "lead the Senate to their own benefit." In addition, he qualified of "intelligent dirty trick" the decision of INITE to support the candidacy to the "quaestor" of Senator Evallière Beauplan... Nevertheless, at the end of this second day of negotiations without a solution, the Senator Lambert, has announced with confidence, the election for this Friday of the new Bureau which will be followed by the meeting of the both Houses in the National Assembly, for the opening of the first regular session of the 49th legislature, as provided in the parliamentary calendar...
