Haiti - Literature : D-1, Livres en Folie, 178 authors in signature and 1,821 titles available

For the 25th edition of Livres en Folie, besides the academician Dany Laferrière as guest of honor (his 3rd participation in Livre en Folie) it is 178 authors in sigature and 1,821 titles available, waiting for visitors at Unibank Park in Tabarre Thursday, June 20th.

"I can confirm that Livres enFolie is the largest literary event in the Caribbean. I travel around the world, and it's very rare to have such an amazing variety in a literary fair. In addition, this collaboration from all sectors, including the public sector and the business sector, proves that we are worthy of the book's path in Haitian history," said Dany.

Once again this year, the net surfers will be able to buy on the site of the UNIBANK or on the website : https://www.haitiecommerce.com/ht/livres.html

The online sale will begin Wednesday, June 19 and end Sunday, June 23. Livres en Folie will also be available in all the provincial towns of the 10 departments where Unibank is present, including in La Gonâve.

This year, the event changes location to settle at Unibank Park in Tabarre. Max Chauvet is optimistic that this venue will be worthy of the event stating "It's a big enough space, able to accommodate tens of thousands of participants. It has a secure parking that can accommodate a thousand cars."

Once again this year, the organizers will give priority to youth. Frantz Duval announces that Maison Deschamps and Livres en Folie will organize a special corner for young people and children inside the fair with the same discount. In addition, assures the editor of Le Nouvelliste, children from 0 to 12 years old can enter the park for free. "Cards have been distributed in schools and universities to allow students and schoolchildren free access to the fair."
