Haiti - Tourism : The MHAVE announces a Fair in New York to promote dream weddings in Haiti

Marnatha Irene Ternier, the Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) together with Marie Christine Stephenson, the Minister of Tourism, announced the holding of a major Fair to be held in Brooklyn, New York, August 31st.

This important fair, which will take place around the theme "I DO HAITI", aims to introduce participants to the beauties of Haiti and encourage them to promote Haiti as a "Destination of Marriage" of choice.

During this announcement, Minister Ternier took the opportunity to recall the various achievements of her Ministry to facilitate the arrival of potential delegations in Haiti for wedding ceremonies and others citing in particular: the Coordination Service of the Diaspora, the Call Center of MHAVE, the awareness campaign by and for the Diaspora, the Fridays of the Diaspora...

According to Guerline Emmanuel Telusma and Nadège Fleurimond, two major event organizers and tour operators managers this fair is also an opportunity to promote the heritage of Haiti that offers great economic and tourism potential.

For Minister Stephenson "Haiti is the soul of the Caribbean where the best kept secret gem" underlining that Haiti is the destination where nature, culture and history go hand in hand to make the country a magical destination, dream and love...
