Me Octelus Dorvilien, the President of the Court of Appeal welcomed the smooth running of the trial and indicated that there were enough convincing clues to maintain the lawsuit against Jimmy Joseph, director of Global Dynasty Corps, Junior Joël Joseph, Monplaisir Edouard and Charles Durand, who will be judged for smuggling, money laundering and criminal conspiracy at the next session of criminal assizes without jury assistance, stressing that if the defendants do not show up he will be judged in absentia

Recall that following the discovery of this shipment of smuggled weapons in Saint-Marc, the investigating judge Me Dieunel Luméran, in his closing order, in December 2018 inculpated the 9 persons (of whom 5 have just been declared innocent) of "Transnational illicit trafficking in firearms and ammunition, smuggling, forgery and forgery, money laundering and criminal conspiracy".
