Haiti - Petit-Goâve : Birth of the movement «Youth in revolt»

The "Youth in revolt" (Jeunesse révoltée) movement located at #313 of the Street Lamarre in Petit-Goâve, advocates a socio-political and economic revolution in Haiti. It includes lawyers, professors, engineers, agronomists and other executives and is currently headed by Ary Saint, Jean, Rénald Jean-Michel and Clédanor Montès Junior.

"Youth in revolt" is an inclusive social movement aimed at reviving Haiti through the application of a constructive and progressive policy taking into account the universal standards of development.

"From 1804 to the present day, only corrupted men come to power. Nothing is done for the people. The report of failure is general and that in all the fields" affirms Rénald Jean-Michel.

This movement aims to :

  • Replace the current political system with another, beneficial to all;

  • Say no to the system that humbles youth, excludes it, impoverishes it and makes it miserable;

  • Fight the system that does not guarantee the future of youth;

  • Fight against corruption;

  • Allow youth to take control of their destiny;

  • Fight for the integration of youth in public administration;

  • Enable the people to enjoy the benefits or fruits of society;

  • Bringing transformation, development and well-being to the people of Haiti;

  • Defend anyone against abuse;

  • Enforce social rights, youth economies.

To achieve these objectives, the members of this movement intend to use among other things : dialogue, awareness raising, education, training and support in the respect and guarantee of human rights.
