Haiti - Football : Death of the leader of Violette Athletic Club

Edwing Charles, the Minister of Youth, Sports has learned with deep sadness the death of Dr. Jean Marie Fritz Henry (67 years) aka « Tatache » occurred Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 1:00 am at the Hospital Canapé-Vert.

The former President of the Violette Athletic Club (VAC) of Port-au-Prince, doctor of the national football team, Jean Marie Fritz Henry (native of Les Cayes) who had devoted himself to the service of our Grenadiers during all the past years to the Haitian Football Federation, wanted the best for his Club. On radio and television, he has been a staunch supporter of VAC for the last twenty years in all circumstances.

Minister Charles, bowing to the body of Dr. Jean Marie Fritz Henry who was an example of dedication, passion, sacrifice and service to our sport king.

The Minister who deplores the death of this great servant of the sport expresses his sincere condolences to his family, the Violette Athletic Club and the Haitian Football Federation.

He invites the big football family to pay homage to the dimension of his passion for football and services to the sport in general.
