Haiti - FLASH : Government denial and appeal to civil servants to serenity
The Ministry of Communication denounces the circulation on social networks of a false note attributed to his ministry that the Government plans to cut certain benefits granted to employees of the public service including police officers. False information "aimed at discrediting the President of the Republic and the entire Government in a fragile political context," says the Ministry.
For its part, the Ministry of Economy and Finance also makes a formal denial of this malicious information. The Ministry appeals the employees of the Public Service, "especially the agents responsible for protecting and serving the population, to maintain their serenity because the purpose of this budget bill is rather the search for social peace and improvement of the life of the citizens."
