Haiti - Politic : Gang war, denial of the Primature

Following the armed clash between two gangs, several wounded were taken to Bernard Mevs Hospital https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-26015-haiti-security-against-background-of-gang-war-the-pnh-tries-to-control-the-situation-in-pap.html , the Secretariat General of the Primature, in a note dated November 3, wishes to express, on behalf of the Government of Prime Minister Jean-Henry Céant, its strongest indignation at a false note circulating on social networks, attributed to the "Private Cabinet" of the Prime Minister.

The General Secretariat "categorically denies that an agreement would have been reached between the Secretary General of the Primature and Bernard Mevs Hospital for any reason whatsoever, even less to allow the police to track down wounded people receiving care at the hospital itself."

"[...] The General Secretariat expresses its deepest regret to the Bitar family and to all the staff at Hôpital Bernard Mevs whose reputation, prestige and dedication to the service of the Community have been defiled by this infamous note [...] "

"The General Secretariat of the Primature takes the opportunity to call the population to vigilance against these manipulators of all kinds who use social networks for destabilization, believing to achieve their unacknowledged goals by sowing disorder and chaos [...]"

It finally warns the perpetrators of such acts that will be identified and prosecuted according to the law.
