A delegation from Brazil visited this week in Haiti, the National Ambulance Center (CAN) whose building was completely restructured at a cost of $1.6 million, funded by the Ministry of Health of Brazil and the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC). https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-23898-haiti-brazil-inauguration-of-the-works-of-the-national-ambulance-center.html Thanks to this donation from the Brazilian Government, the CAN has been able to finalize among other things : the disinfection area, the construction of the garage and the ambulance washing.

Following their visit, the members of the Brazilian delegation expressed their satisfaction with the layout of the space and the functioning of the CAN. Note that a representative of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), also a partner of the CAN, was part of that delegation.
