On Wednesday, the North Senator Dieudonne Luma Étienne left the country to the United States at the invitation of the National Alliance for the Advancement of Haitian Professionals (NAAHP), to participate on October 27 in "Golden Honors" which will be held at Florida International University, where she will receive the Changemaker Award for her positions, initiatives and actions in the Haitian Parliament.

During her stay, Senator Étienne, convinced of the capacity and the degree of involvement of the Haitian Diaspora in the development of Haiti, will take part this Thursday, October 25th in the 7th Annual Conference of the NAAHP around the theme "Inclusion of women from the Diaspora in politics and their power of influence in Haiti."

On 26 October, she will sign a memorandum of understanding between the Port of West Palm Beach and that of the city of Cap-Haïtien to strengthen the commercial relationship of the two ports.

Senator Etienne will be back in Canada on October 30th.
