On the eve of the commemoration of the death of the Emperor Jean-Jacques Dessalines (October 17, holiday) and following the advice of the UNIBANK announcing to its customers "that the branches of the UNIBANK branches will be closed on Tuesday October 16, 2018 at 1:00 pm", Georges Henry, the Deputy Governor of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH), informs the general public and customers in particular that "all financial institutions generally unspecified, will open their doors on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 according to the usual schedule."
The BRH takes the opportunity to remind financial institutions that "the closure of any branch, agency or any change in the work schedule of a financial institution must be motivated to customers (General Assembly, retirement for employees, change of system..."
