Earthquake : 79 schools damaged

79 public and non-public schools were damaged in the earthquake that hit the northwest of the country on Saturday, 6 October. According to the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training, the majority of schools damaged, 55 in total, are located in the North West (Port-de-Paix, St. Louis North and Jean-Rabel). The other schools affected are in Artibonite (Gros Morne in particular) and the North (Plaisance, Dondon, Pilate).

Michaëlle Jean loses Canada's support
