Haiti - Elections : The CEP talks about the logistical failures...

Richardson Dumesle, spokesman of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) spoke a few minutes ago, about the logistical failures. He recognizes that in many Voting Centers, materials are missing... in some Polling Stations the ballot boxes are missing, for some others they do not have the ballots, or even the indelible ink....

"Following this, the Council took the necessary steps to complete the missing material. Currently we can say that in the next few hours all the Voting Centers and Polling Stations will be able to obtain the missing material"

In the meantime, the CEP "asks voters to be patient" and ensures them that they will be able fulfill their civic duty. Richardson Dumesle stressed "Arrangements have been made to solve this set of problems that were found in the first moment of the voting process".
