The Listening Committee of the 38th edition of the Prix Découvertes RFI has selected the 10 finalists of the 2018 edition. They will be submitted on November 8th to the vote of the jury chaired this year by the Cameroonian singer Charlotte Dipanda, jury which will elect the successor to the Malian artist, M'Bouillé Koité, winner of the 2017 edition.

The singer-songwriter and guitarist Jean Gérard Joseph (28 years old) aka "Géraldo", vice champion of Digicel Stars in 2009 and Champion of the champions of this same competition in 2016, is among the 10 finalists and will represent the colors of Haiti, hoping win the first place.
