The 3rd Edition of the Feminist Festival "Nègès Mawon" will take place from 24 to 29 September 2018 in various places in Port-au-Prince, including the Foundation Knowledge and Freedom (FOKAL). On the program: lectures, shows, exhibitions, screenings...

"Nègès Mawon" is a young feminist organization working in the fields of education, training and culture. The idea of this festival responds to the need to look at the cultural and artistic production with a feminist perspective, but also to experiment with a new way of understanding and renewing the issues of feminist militancy by using art in general, to try to revitalize the Haitian feminist movement, give it a new "leadership", a new image and involve new actresses and new actors.

Followed by a discussion led by Nègès Mawon
