According to the Citizen Observatory for the Institutionalization of Democracy (OCID), for the week 3 to 7 September 2018, two topics dominated the actuality in Parliament.

It was a question on one hand of the vote of the bill of amending finance of the fiscal year 2017-2018 and of the reception and secondly of the analysis of the files of the Prime Minister named Jean Henry Céant and members from his ministerial cabinet.

This step should be followed by a ratification session of the appointed Prime Minister's General Policy Statement, and the two chambers committees responsible for analyzing the ministers' files of the new Cabinet are at work but, the Senate does not seem very pressed https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-25483-haiti-news-zapping.html

At the Chamber of Deputies : No plenary meeting was held.

At Senate :

The only session held in the Senate was held on September 4 and was for the vote on the amended 2017-2018 Finance Act (144 billion gourdes).
