Haiti - FLASH : Family reunification in Chile, IOM opens its first VISA service center in Haiti

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has opened in Haiti, its first Visa Application Center for Chile (CAVC), to help migrants find legal routes to the South American country.

Recall that earlier this month, IOM signed an agreement with the Chilean government to provide administrative support services to help Haitians wishing to visit the country through the family reunification visa https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24839-haiti-flash-visa-available-for-family-reunification-in-chile.html instituted as a new visa category in April and entered into force in July. The visa allows a stay of 12 months.

The processing capacity of the new visa center in Port-au-Prince is 40 interviews per day or more, and Haitians wishing to join their family in Chile can request an online appointment on the IOM website : https://haiti.iom.int/cavc/

The Center is located at Tabarre 27, at 11 E. Pierre Street (US Embassy Zone)
