Haiti - Football : 5 Grenadières coveted by French clubs

The brilliant participation of our Grenadières against tough opponents (China, Nigeria, Germany) at the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup France 2018 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-25239-haiti-france-2018-our-valiant-grenadieres-bow-with-honor-face-germany-[3-2].html did not fail to draw the attention of several French Football Clubs on the performances of some of our brilliant players despite the elimination of Haiti in the Group stage.

Thus, Olympique Lyonnais dreams of recruiting Melchie Daelle Dumornay aka "Corventina" https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-25250-icihaiti-football-olympique-lyonnais-could-recruit-corventina.html ; "En Avant Guingamp" an atypical Breton club that has 12 seasons in D1 would like to see the goaler Sherly Jeudy (U-17) join his team and finally, the VGA Saint Maur covets 3 grenadières : the goalkeeper, Kerly Theus, the defender Emeline Charles and the attacker, Roseline Eloissaint. Recall that VGA Saint-Maur in 1974, was one of the 16 teams behind the creation of the first women division (D1). After 2 years in regional division, the club wins in D1 by winning 6 titles of French Champion (1983, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1990) before a decline over the years relegating it from 1998 between the D2 and D3. The Club climbed briefly in D1 in 2015 (U-17 women's championship) before falling back to D2 for the 2016-2017 season.

The Haitian Football Federation is currently finalizing recruitment files with these French Clubs.
