The Ministry of National Education has just made available the results of the 9th year fundamental exams of the 2017-2018 academic year for the South, thus completing the 10 school departments.

Results according to the National Bureau of State Examinations (BUNEXE) :

West: Success rate 54.42% (down), or 68,838 candidates admitted out of 94,876 participants (79% in 2016-2017);

North: Success rate 66% (down), or 15,118 candidates admitted out of 22,868 participants (82% in 2016-2017);

Northeast: Success rate 59%, or 5,120 candidates admitted out of 8,724 participants; (34.73% in 2016-2017);

Northwest: Success rate 65% (down), or 8,919 candidates admitted out of 13,693 participants (75% in 2016-2017);

Center: Success rate 54% (down), or 8,552 candidates admitted out of 15,827 participants (74% in 2016-2017);

Grand'Anse: Success rate 62% (down), or 4,460 candidates admitted out of 7,160 participants (65% in 2016-2017);

Artibonite: Success rate 62% (down), or 16,387 candidates admitted out of 26,381 participants (75% in 2016-2017);

Nippes: Success rate 62% (down), or 4,009 candidates admitted out of 6,467 participants (86% in 2016-2017);

Southeast: Success rate 59% (down), or 5,148 candidates admitted out of 8,794 participants (70% in 2016-2017);

South: Success rate 52% (down), or 5,857 candidates admitted out of 11,215 participants (74% in 2016-2017);

West gave the best performance with a success rate of 73%, followed by North in second place with 66%, and Northwest in third with 65%. The South is ranked last with a success rate of 52%

According to data provided by BUNEXE, the success rate at the national level is 65.92%, or 142,145 candidates admitted out of 215,647 participants down compared on the previous year where the success rate at the national level was 77.37% or 164,585 candidates admitted out of 212,723 participants.

School directors are invited to remove the list of their schools from the Departmental Education Directorate (DDE) of their respective areas.
