Budget of the Parliament, 10 years of increase

Since 2009, Parliament's budget has steadily increased each year, rising from 775 million gourdes to 7.2 billion gourdes in the fiscal year 2009-2010 in fiscal year 2017-2018.

Barranquilla 2018 : Victory of the Grenadiers over El Salvador

As part of the Central America and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, the men's U-23 division, which plays in Group B, faced El Salvador in their first game, defeating them [1-0], thanks to to a goal of Jean Jacques Danley at 29 '. Our Grenadiers will face Venezuela on July 23 and finally Mexico on July 25.

Diplomacy : 4 nominations of Donald Trump

President Donald Trump is nominating four career foreign service officers to the rank of career ambassador, the first such nominations under an administration that has been criticized for gutting the State Department's senior staff. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee will vote on Philip Goldberg, interim charge d'affairs at the U.S. embassy in Havana; David Hale, ambassador to Pakistan; Michele Sison, ambassador to Haiti and Daniel Smith, assistant secretary of state for intelligence and research.

The Fort Dauphin or Fort Saint-Joseph is at the end of the Grande Rue, at Pointe de Roche, in the commune of Fort-Liberté (North West Department) which is aptly named. The fort was built in the extension of the central axis of the city. Since 1730 it is a strategic place completing the defensive system of protection of the inland.It was completed in 1735, with the exception of the battery platforms which were completed in 1743.
