Haiti - Social : Martine Moïse, supports mothers in Canapé-Vert

As part of the "Ti Manman cheri" program launched in 2012 under the Martelly-Lamothe Government https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-5750-haiti-social-official-launch-of-the-program-ti-manman-cheri.html , who restarted last May 27th, First Lady Martine Moïse on tour, went to the National School Republic of the United States to Bois Patate (Canapé-Vert), bring hope to mothers and reiterate her will and that of the Moïse-Lafontant administration to stand alongside women, so that they can better integrate into society and participate fully in all projects related to the development of the country.

Recalling that "women are the center of families, the engine of change, of development in the country. The President of the Republic understands this, so the program "ti manman cheri", is present in the 10 departments and 146 communes to support the efforts of women to provide support to their families, to build a future better in which people can live like real people."

The "Ti Manman cheri" program of solidarity, which is being revitalized, is intended to support the poorest, to fight against social exclusion and discrimination and to improve the living conditions of women in Haiti. More than 120,000 women registered in the program across the 10 departments in the summer of 2017, received the coupons allowing them to collect their grant from an authorized transfer agent. The state continues to roll out this social program across the country, to welcome more mothers and help them build a better life.
