Haiti - Elections : Statements and positions of Mirlande Manigat

Minustah :

The presidential candidate of Haiti Mirlande Manigat does not plan to demand the departure of the UN mission for the Stabilization of Haiti if she win the election, while recognizing that its presence will cease one day... "

The departure of the Minustah will not be a priority of my government. If the Minustah went immediately, I think there would be in the country, a security gap", The candidate is in favor of a police force to strengthen the National Police of Haiti (PNH) but wishes to be clear "It is not to rehabilitate the old army".
