Stressing that the Dominican Republic will play an important role in the reconstruction process of Haiti through its investments that will be beneficial for the Dominican and Haitian businesses. I promise to eradicate the corruption, to govern the country with transparency and rebuild the trust between citizens and the government if I go to power [...] I represent the change, a new path that is clean, straightforward and transparent". The candidate Michel Martelly said he is open for the debate with her opponent, Mirlande Manigat.
