Friday in Jacmel, a demonstration organized by the Revolutionary Group for the Advancement and Support of the Southeast (GRAAS), to demand a better power distribution in the city, turned to the clash when unidentified protesters launched stones and bottles on the police, who responded by throwing tear gas grenades

GRAAS officials have denounced police brutality, accusing police of opening fire with real bullets, causing at least two wounded in the ranks of protesters. Information not confirmed by the PNH.
