Haiti - Football : Members of Arcahaie FC savagely assaulted

The Haitian Football Federation (FHF) deplores the savage assault on the football delegation of Arcahaie FC as it returned from Cap-Haitien after a match lost [2-0] against Real Hope on the lawn of Félix St Victor Park, as part of the 11th day of the Haitian Professional Football Championship (CHFP) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24135-haiti-football-results-of-the-11th-day-of-the-chfp.html

The Federation expresses its sympathies and expresses its feelings of solidarity to the members of Arcahaie FC, mainly those of the delegation, brutally assaulted on the night of Sunday 15 to Monday 16 April.

The Federation, as it does to every tragedy of this kind that has become too frequent, which largely affects football in its mission to bring Haitians closer, once again launches a patriotic appeal to the authorities and asks them to take appropriate measures to allow all citizens, including hundreds of sportsmen engaged every day and especially every weekend, to go regularly and at any time of day and night to their activities.

The FHF and its affiliated clubs are already thanking the authorities and informing them that they want and are ready to collaborate to find a definitive solution to this drama that affects national security, to sit down with them to study the situation and to arrive at adequate measures to stop these violences [...]"
